ALLIANOI (DON’T LET IT SUBMERGED)
Excavation works have started in 1998 and a grest part of Allionai, the antique city has been extraxted; it proves that Bergama was an important healht center in time being.
It has been used between the dates 200 B.C. 200 A.D. Allinoi was also devoted to health God Asklepioes just like Asklepion.
The only difference is the cure methot.It was inspiration in Asklepion.But findings show that the cure methot in Allianoi was hydrotherapy(theerapy bymeans of water).
Hot water in this place is still usefull today. But unfortunately Yortanlý Dam which is in constructýon phase threatens to flood this area.Necesseary studies are in proceeding in order to rescue this cultural legacy.
