ACROPOLIS
Acropolis means ‘’upper city’’.Excavation Works have atartes in 1874 and there have been found many works as well as the glorious city itself.
Kingdom family and rich people of the town used to live in the top of the city. There were palaces and temples in this area.Populace used to live in the lower city.
Most glorious work in acropolis is Zeus alter. It has been constructed by Pergomon king Eumesns II ., for the memory of the glory against Galats. Howerer, German excavatýon teams has brought Zeus alter to Berlin, Germany, 130 years ago. Only foundation stones remain in its place today .
Most straight theatre of the world with capacity 15000 people, together with 200 thousands of volumes , and palaces and temples are also in acropolis.
